Online & In Person Courses
This teaching series will focus on various aspects of Regenerative Medicine to help you transform your practice and strengthen your injection skills. Due to current restrictions with COVID-19, these courses will be offered 100% online so that you can gather this knowledge from the comfort of your own home. However, there will still be an in-person component for each course for which details on dates/timing will be decided once we better understand the trajectory of the pandemic. So, register today to ensure you are emailed as soon as each virtual course is available and are contacted once dates are selected for the hands-on portion of each training!
Online Course Launch:
Subcutaneous Perineural Injections
This online course will include an in depth look into the science behind subcutaneous perineural injections. We will cover how it works, when it is indicated and most importantly we will have live patient model videos for you to view so you can learn directly from Dr. Timmerman’s technique. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
Palpation Guided Regenerative Injections
This online course will teach you about the research behind prolotherapy, which conditions it can treat and how you can seamlessly integrate it into your practice. Both the upper and lower extremities will be covered in detail so that you can feel ready to offer this treatment for a variety of conditions. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
Ultrasound Guided Regenerative Injections: Extremities – Date TBD
This online course is intended for health care providers who are ready to enhance their injection skills through ultrasound guidance and have already mastered palpation guided techniques. After an overview of research and methodology, there will be in-depth videos with Dr. Timmerman’s explaining how to most efficiently use your ultrasound machine for these injections. Please note that this course will only cover the upper and lower extremities. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
Ultrasound Guided Regenerative Injections: Spine – Date TBD
This online course is intended for health care providers who are ready to enhance their injection skills through ultrasound guidance and have already mastered palpation guided techniques. After an overview of research and methodology, there will be in-depth videos with Dr. Timmerman’s explaining how to most efficiently use your ultrasound machine for these injections. Please note that this course will only cover the spine. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
Nerve Hydrodissection – Date TBD
Nerve hydrodissection is a fantastic nonsurgical technique to help treat neuropathic pain. This online training will teach you about the research, indications and will include live patient model videos where Dr. Timmerman’s shares his clinical pearls for this injection technique. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
Integrative Approaches to Regenerative Medicine – Date TBD
This online course will include a deep dive into the pathophysiology of various chronic pain conditions (tendinosis, arthritis, ligament laxity, enthesopathy, etc.). Dr. Timmerman’s will cover different theories, strategies, and treatment approaches for healing from these chronic conditions. Specifically, there will be a heavy emphasis on strategies that can be used to optimize regenerative injection therapies.
PRP Processing – Date TBD
This online training will cover the basic science behind platelet rich plasma (PRP), and will show you how to manually process PRP without the use of kits. In person hands-on training with live patient models date/time is TBD – stay tuned!
HERE’S WHAT OTHERS HAD TO SAY
“I am writing a review on the ultrasound-guided prolotherapy/PRP sessions that I attended by Dr. Drew Timmermans in 2019. I attended 3 of his courses in Phoenix, Arizona, covering upper limb, lower limb, and spine. I am a medical doctor from Canada, who has been in practice for almost 20 years. Let me start by saying that Drew’s courses are among the many courses that I have taken part along the way. I am therefore not an expert, but not at beginner level either. I can attest that Drew’s courses are by far the best that I have attended, for a few reasons. He does put in a great deal of time in the preparation for the courses, and the pre-read materials are clear and concise.
The actual learning experience is well organized, and he uses the time effectively.
There are always ‘models’ to practice on, and we rarely have to practice on each other during the course.
He really makes the learning environment fun. We are learning and laughing together all day long.
As an added value, Drew is open to staying in touch with his students to continue the learning process. We often text questions and clinical pearls to each other, in the interest of life long learning. I highly recommend Drew’s courses, whether you are a beginner, or more advanced in your prolotherapy journey.”
“Dr. Timmermans is an amazing instructor and injector. These trainings delivered above and beyond what was expected in my opinion. He focused on detail of injecting technique as well as drilled knowledge of anatomical structures for effective and safe injecting. Overall great training!!”
“The hands-on learning in this training is priceless! As a student, these opportunities don’t come often. I highly recommend taking this training.”
“Dr. Drew Timmermans is an excellent teacher, offering a high value course. The training material was research based, cutting edge, and well designed. The courses I attended were engaging with great instruction, lively music, and hours of practice. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. I plan to attend more of his course in the future.”

During this time, Dr. Timmermans also sought out additional training in peptide therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement, and IV micronutrient therapy. As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Timmermans’ approach to resolving chronic pain and disease focuses on finding and treating the root cause, assessing and treating the whole person, and helping the body heal itself.
